Personnel Involved: [DATA EXPUNGED]
Date: [REDACTED]
Location: [REDACTED]
Background:
The Wolves received a report from ████████ regarding a stretch of ocean located at ██ ° N, ██ ° E , that hosted an abandoned shipwreck. An urban myth had arisen from the area, stating that young men who were found near the wreck would disappear into the shipwreck, never to be found again, while at night the haunting strains of a maiden singing would be heard. Locals have attempted to investigate the wreck themselves, but time and time again have found themselves buffeted by storms and unable to approach. On one occasion, there have been severe casualties.
Victim(s) Profile:
The missing persons are men aged 20 - 30, and come from varying backgrounds. However, they all have been described to have classically handsome features, akin to the princes found in paintings, though they do not have any connection with royalty or noble lineage. They also do not know how to swim.
Description:
The Sisters and the Wolves were asked to investigate. The operation commenced on ██ /██ /████ , led by Team ████████.
Upon nearing the shipwreck, the storms reported by the villagers started up immediately. It was observed that the storms included unnatural green flashes of lightning, as well as seaweed rising out of the water like tentacles, attempting to drag several members of the Team into the water in a way to drown them. There was a shrieking echoing in the air as they attempted to near the area. This situation had to be overcome by a combination of suppression spells and magic overrides.
In the process, however, two of the team members ████████ and ███████ were seriously injured by the reflecting magic, and had to be rushed into a makeshift safe shelter in the shipwreck to rest and for first aid care to be administered.
The shipwreck’s interior was observed to be surprisingly well-kept for a sunken ruin, but several areas were underwater and guarded by hostiles such as aggressive clownfish and stinging coral. On one or two occasions, sudden spouts of whirlpool emerged from nowhere, throwing the agents off course. Embedded into the doric columns of the shipwreck were long, thin ███████ with swirling sea foam, later observed to have features bearing faint resemblance to some of the missing men, although this cannot be ascertained.
Following the pathways into the shipwreck and repeatedly hindered by a man-crab monstrosity (see: Addendum-HCLM-2), the Team were waylaid when the previously injured team member ███████ was seen walking in a trance towards an abandoned backdoor. It was observed that when he was restrained, he lashed out, taking various forms of sea animals, including an octopus, a starfish, and a Kraken (previously undemonstrated by the man) before he was knocked out. Another team member, ████████ was left behind to tend to him, knowing she would be able to resist the siren song due to her gender.
Reaching the ballroom of the ruin, the team came across the Embodiment (see: Addendum-HCLM-1), who had been grotesquely mutated and was caressing an unconscious man in her embrace, humming quietly to him. She had a comb in her hand, identified to be the relevant Yarn (see: Addendum-HLCM-3), and when disturbed promptly flew into a rage, screaming at the team. She summoned a tidal wave, and the team had to give chase.
She was eventually neutralized after a long fight, having dragged her on land and removed from her the element of the sea. However, the team was subsequently attacked by another Embodiment (see: Addendum-HCLM-4), and in the chaos the original Embodiment slipped away. The new Embodiment was quickly crushed and faded into dust, without any knowledge of what it was. The sea foam in the ███████ also subsequently vanished along with the Embodiment who had disappeared in the chaos.
A constant lookout must be kept for the escaped Embodiment, though current intelligence does not seem to point to any activity on her part.

She was jilted at the altar when she was to marry her fiancé of three years, and subsequently vanished from the town she lived in, re-appearing as the Embodiment that is now known as the Oceanid. Her base of operations was previously at the shipwreck of █.█. ███████ , but after her initial defeat has vanished. |

Date: ██/██/████ Embodiment Agent Designation: The Crab Man Former Identity: N/A Status: Neutralized Description: The creature has the readings of a Penitent, but does not exhibit the usual shadow-like aura that accompany one. Therefore, it is theorized that this was once upon a time a crab, which was eventually corrupted by a Penitent spirit, and does the whims of the Oceanid. However, it was defeated and neutralized in the course of battle. |

Date: ██/██/████ Creature Designation: The Octopied Former Identity: N/A Status: Neutralized Description: It is unknown if this creature is an Embodiment or a Penitent - it bears none of the features of a Penitent, but does not fit any past recorded files of an Embodiment. It takes on a far more grotesque appearance, with tentacles instead of a tail, and has been seen to emit jolts of electricity. However, upon defeat the creature simply vanished into a mist of black dust, not unlike that of Penitents when defeated. There is speculation that this is only an aspect of the Oceanid, in her attempt to escape, but further research will be necessary. |
