Item: Sister’s Cloak Category: Protection Type: Magic Powers and abilities: Warding and tracking Needed prerequisite for use: None History: The founding sister Red had a cloak that was made by her beloved mother, and wore it when she went to visit her grandmother. It was the same cloak that attracted the Yarn-Spinner themselves to her, and the one that protected her from the Yarn-Spinner’s illusions. Ever since, all Sisters have worn a cloak in memory of the young girl and the one who founded the Sisters, and it has evolved in use and style. Description: The Cloak is what denotes a Sister of the Hood as a Sister of the Hood. The design evolves according to the Sister’s preference and the rank, but four elements remain constant: a hook, a cloak, an identifying pattern on the hem of the Cloak, a warding enchantment that protects against most basic-level magics, and a basic tracking magic. The tracking magic, however, is never activated until a Sister has gone missing for an extended period of time. Contrary to popular belief, however, these Cloaks are not always red, and some Sisters even have one for every season, or every outfit - for a certain monetary cost. Beyond the basic elements, the Cloaks can be customised at the Clothier in the Abbey, from the material used to the style of the cloak to the lining for the season to the enchantments on the Cloak itself - to a limit. For some, the Cloak was upgraded to become even more strongly warded; for some, the Cloak became a cloaking device, blending and camouflaging the user wherever they are; for some, the Cloak was lined with pockets to store even more items. The Sisters never leave the Abbey without it, and it has become their trademark whenever they carry out missions. Notes: There are a few limitations as to what the Cloak can and cannot be enchanted to do, due to the basic warding magic already in place. These include:
